Nigerian comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, commonly known as Seyi Law, has questioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) regarding the arrest of Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.
According to reports, the EFCC has confirmed Bobrisky’s re-arrest in Lagos.

The well-known crossdresser turned to Instagram to alert his followers about the incident, alleging that he had been injured after a dispute with customs authorities.

Bobrisky accused the EFCC of being responsible for his arrest.

He wrote, “Nigerians, assist me, the EFCC just nabbed me. “I’m severely injured.”

According to sources, his arrest stemmed from his failure to respond to multiple invitations from the commission following his claims against the EFCC.

He was removed from a KLM flight heading for Amsterdam at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport and then held by immigration officers late Thursday night as he attempted to depart for London, United Kingdom.

In a post on X, Seyi chastised the EFCC for allowing Bobrisky to board the plane before re-arresting him, and questioned whether any court had issued a travel restriction to the crossdresser.

He stated, “I don’t comprehend Bobrisky’s case, abeg. Did a court order him not to travel? Why let him board the plane and humiliate him like this?”
