Vincent Otse also known as VeryDarkMan , has lamented that his non-governmental organization’s (NGO) website “was hacked, resulting in the theft of N180 million”.

The activist took to his Instagram page on Friday to reveal that he was accompanied by a police officer to Jos, Plateau state capital, to track down the suspects.

He also revealed that one of the alleged culprits had been arrested.

“I will be honest with you guys, for the past few days I have not been myself. I am with officer Joe and we are going to Jos. The NGO money… somebody hacked into the NGO website, I do not how they did it and N180 million is missing,” he said.

“Thank God we have tracked the person and we are on our way to Jos. They have arrested one, I am excited and our account has been put on pend. The account now had N20 million, N160 million has been diverted to another account. We are currently going there to see how I will get the money back.”

VeryDarkMan’s NGO, launched in October, focuses on community development and improving the public school system.

The organization received significant donations, including N100 million from Don Jazzy, the head of Mavin Records.
