Polycarp, an official of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has been declared wanted.

He was declared wanted for absconding with $30,000 and other valuables in Kaduna.

The officer, stationed at the Commission’s Kaduna zonal office, was tasked with managing exhibits in the zone.

While the EFCC is yet to disclose specific details surrounding the crime, it has been reported that some of the valuables include, gold bars, valued at over N1 billion, $180,000, and £140,000.

Polycarp allegedly disappeared after being unable to explain the whereabouts of the $30,000.

This is coming shortly after the agency detained 10 officers in Lagos for failing to account for missing operational items.
