According to the Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB, if open grazing is outlawed and Miyetti Allah is prohibited, the Nigerian government can stop the Eastern Security Network’s (ESN) operations.
Emma Powerful, the group’s spokesperson, stated in a statement that if Miyetti Allah is not prohibited, ESN would keep defending the Southeast.
According to IPOB, Nigerians should be appreciative of ESN and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, for stopping the actions of Sahelian killer herders.
A portion of the statement goes as follows: “The only reason ESN exists is to checkmate the excesses of these Sahelian killer herdsmen and to make sure that no square inch of the Land of the Ancients (Igboland) gets taken over and occupied by killers posing as herdsmen.
Few people in Nigeria are aware that these murderous herdsmen from the North are forcibly occupying a sizable portion of Yoruba territory, specifically Oyo State. Have we all forgotten what certain Yoruba agitators were battling against?
“Today, no Yoruba man would venture into the heart of the Yoruba race, a forest in Oyo State known as Gambari. Is the name Gambari Yoruba? The ancestral territory of the Tiv people of Benue, which has long been known as Katsina Ala, has been forfeited.

implying a miniature Katsina in someone else’s territory. As of the last time we looked, neither Katsina Ala nor Gambari are indigenous Yoruba names that anyone can identify with the local Tiv people.
The unrelenting push of Sahelian killer herdsmen who are determined to enslave Indigenous populations all the way to the Atlantic Ocean has been blunted and permanently stopped by Nnamdi Kanu and ESN, for which every well-meaning Easterner should be thankful.
Similar to the Yoruba Amotekun, which was established to lend legitimacy to the effort to rid Yoruba lands and forests of murderous herdsmen, ESN exists solely to safeguard the populace.
“It is their right if other Nigerians feel at ease with murderous herdsmen occupying their farms and woods and killing their people whenever they like. Biafraland will never experience a situation like this again. Fulani herdsmen will never occupy a single square inch of Biafraland as long as IPOB is in existence.
