As Nigeria celebrates its 64th Independence Anniversary, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to combating corruption.

In an Independence Anniversary message shared on the EFCC’s official X handle, @officialEFCC, Olukoyede emphasized the need for increased dedication to tackling economic and financial crimes, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Speaking from Abuja, he declared, “At the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, we are resolute in our fight against corruption in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

He urged Nigerians to collaborate with the Commission in the quest for reform, progress, and sustainable development. “As we celebrate our 64th Independence, let us forge ahead in pursuit of reform, progress, and enduring development,” he added.

Olukoyede expressed optimism about Nigeria’s potential for greatness, asserting that with heightened commitment and passion, the nation can overcome corruption. “We can make Nigeria greater. We can rule the world. We can conquer corruption!” he declared.

His remarks serve as a rallying cry for Nigerians to engage actively in the fight against corruption, emphasizing that collective effort is essential for achieving a better future.
